Dr. Soumya katakam is an extremely passionate obstetrician and gynaecologist
who completed her (MBBS)basic medical education from prestigious Prathima institute of medical sciences, Karimnagar. She did her post graduation in OBG from well known Apollo health city hospitals hyderabad, has 8 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. While doing her post graduation, she got an opportunity to work in Obstetrics department in Gandhi Medical hospital, hyderabad over an year. Following post graduation, she worked in Sircilla district hospital for a few years where she had an exemplary exposure to high risk pregnancy cases. She also completed Fellowship in Minimal Accessive surgery(FMAS) and Credentialed IMS Menopause Practitioner (CIMP). She also certified as Sonologist from Selvi school of Sonology. She has knowledge of current principles and recent guidelines of high risk pregnancy care.
Her areas of interest are Normal vaginal delivery, High risk pregnancy care, Minimal accessive surgeries (Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy etc.) and all gynaecology related surgeries.
